NHS Portrait No.5

Well done you for painting these and they, including this one, have all been brilliantFrank.

nice work. I tried to do this, but nobody sent me decent images.

Excellent portrait. Those eyes say it all

Thanks Heather, that was a lovely comment 😊 Thanks Tony, sometimes you have to do the best with what you get, or try asking for several photos to choose from. Thanks Diana, their work must be so tiring at the moment.

Beautifully painted Frank and so full of character, as all your portraits are.

Thanks Carole and Russell, it’s lovely that some of these people have sent me beautiful flowers too 😊

Another great painting for a good cause.

What a tribute, Frank! I love the folds in her uniform, the shading on the mask giving her face form, and the eyes and glasses ........wow! What more can I say!!!

Thanks Christine and thanks Jennifer - what a lovely comment!

My 5th NHS Portrait is Sheula, who works in a tertiary 3 paediatric unit in Birmingham, a major part of her work is also working with babies' parents and carers, and helping them through one of the scariest times they will experience. It is lovely to paint these brave people who are working so hard for us under what must be the most difficult of circumstances. Oil on MDF board 30x49cms.
