Great portrait. Never tried gouache for portraits but imagine it isn’t easy. It certainly doesn’t look like a rushed job Frank.

Thank you Michael, Cesare, Russel, Stephen, Sylvia, Carole and Lynne for commenting. Carole I think gouache is easier than most medium, I use it quite thickly which allows me to go over other colours if need be.

Gouache on Fabriano 200 paper 6x8 inches. Had to rush the last bit in this after running out of time at the painting club, but had lotrs of fun with the coloured scarf.
