Lovely painting. I like hydrangeas too, ours have lost all colour now...a drab brown, but still provide some interest.

Hydrangeas give us so much interest in the garden, gorgeous bouquets of flowers in summer, beautifully tinted leaves in autumn and showy straw coloured heads into winter. Painted from a photograph of our own plant. I’ve used negative painting for the leaves. Gouache on watercolour paper 7x7in
