This is a lovely painting Francis. The combination of watercolour and graphite really works for me. The detail in the buildings is very well done, Beautifully crafted.

Exceptional work Francis, and as you say, incredible to see the roads and streets empty. Shame the George wouldn’t have been open for refreshments!

Stamford Bridge and Town. Viewpoint from the bridge. (Middle of the road)! Traditional style, Watercolour and graphite. Size : 270mm x 370mm During the national lockdown, I took a stroll around Stamford town. Late afternoon, bright and sunny but darker clouds loomed. Possibly forecasting troubled times to come.! Almost no people, very few cars. A one of opportunity to take photos while standing in the middle of what would normally be a very busy road..!!
