Beautiful contrasts Carole, the centre against the paleness of the petals especially. I like how you have captured the turn of the petals at the edge. I’ve just posted some Iris photos on the forum, along with a few other flower pics…..nothing exotic.

I saw this lovely iris on Gardener’s World last week, I thought it had striking colour against the large white petals. Tried to represent it in coloured pencil.
