Wet leaves on grass.

Wet leaves on grass.

Sorry not yupo it was Bristol board :)

Just incredible Carole!! Whatever you do is fantastic!

Your experiment has turned out really well Carole you've got some great effects.

Thanks Satu and Val. It was a bit of oil pastel I put on that spoiled it on the leaf at top of large one then couldn't get it off of course! It covered my spattered effect which I didn't want!

You've managed to make the leaves look wet and I love the subtle tones you have used Carole.

Clever, effective and beautifully done Carole. Lovely work.

This works beautifully Carole.

I love your style. Thank you for your comment on my watercolour poppies ‘remembering ‘ I am very new to painters on line. It was inspiring. Jane

Really convincing leaves Carole, quite beautiful.

Lovely effects , love the top leaf.

This turned out beautifully, Carole. I found yupo less than optimal; and Bristol board is a favorite.

Your work never fails to impress. I've been away from the site for a while and it's great to see your work is still up the top of the scale.

This is really exciting and very effective Carole, So inspired!

Thanks ever so much for you encouraging comments, i really appreciate them. Annick this was a used piece of Bristol ( drawing on other side) the dark spot is a blob of paint as it rested on my palette, but it fits in with the top leaf :)

Just noticed your painting of 'Wet leaves on grass' and think it's an exceptionally fine painting. Oh and thank you for your comment on one of mine. I've only just realised that you thank people for their comment by replying to their comment on your painting. I'll follow your example in future.

Thanks Tom very kind. Your portraits are very good they always catch my eye.

I love your leaves Carole - it is fun trying all these different mediums - I am just starting to try them.
