Lovely drawing of a beautiful dog, we had a Golden Retriever too, very much loved a great breed of dog.

Great picture Carole so beautiful , I adore dogs and all animals.

Thanks so much Glennis and Dennis, yes they are beautiful dogs. Not very often I attempt animals and of course portraits as I find them far too difficult.

A lovely, sensitive drawing Carole of your much loved animal.

They don't live long enough, sadly; but while you've got this drawing he or she lives on.

Thanks Alan and Robert, yes Sam will always be in our minds.

This is a lovely drawing of Sam, Carole. So sorry he's no longer with you. I'm sure you have some very happy memories of him. Such intelligent, lovable dogs.

Wonderful drawing, Carole, very well done.

I bet this was emotional to draw. A lovely portrait of a gorgeous dog Carole.

A lovely reminder of a much missed friend.

Gorgeous Carole, Lovely Sam, beautiful drawing :)

Really grateful for your kind comments.

A lovely drawing Carole. I too had a retriever (well retrieverXcollie but who looked like a retriever). They are lovely dogs - so gentle and good natured. I am sure you must miss him.

The love really shows in this beautiful work Carole

Thanks Julie yes we miss him, I look after my daughters two collie X now they are beautiful too. Thanks Dennis, pleased you like it.

A lovely sketch Carole, very expressive.

A beautiful drawing Carole , and it's a terrible blow to loose these special friends

Thanks yes it is Dermot, he was a wonderful friend.

Beautifully and sensitively portrayed, Carole. It's the only downside to having them, they depart way too soon.
