The Handkerchief Tree

Lovely and delicate washes .

That's lovely Carole, never heard of that tree unless it goes by another name here in Scotland.

Stunning a beautiful painting

A stunning and beautiful painting Carole , so delicate looking.

Thank you very much! It seems it doesn’t flower for about 15 yrs, I’ve had it for 3 yrs….I’ll be lucky if I live to see it flower 🥹. It is also called a ‘Dove Tree’ or Davidii after the explorer who found it in China I think.

Oh, I like this VERY much Carole!

They're beautiful trees and this is a beautiful watercolour

Absolutely beautiful.

Before I looked at the name, I thought, Carole Swingler. Absolutely gorgeous, Carole.

Watercolour, watercolour pencils. I have this tree, waiting for the handkerchief to appear! The white look alike flowers are really white leaf bracts which turn green later in year..
