Ps might add some leaves.

You did a great job Carole but it looks a tough composition it looks difficult to separate the cyclamen from the background, but its been well executed.

very nice textured background with refined reds and purple giving lightness to the whole scenery

Interesting Carole, they could be growing in Tuffa Rock that I use to use for alpines , nice one.

Lovely Carole, my wife thinks it's amazing!

The rock works...

Almost abstract which I find really appealing.

Very effective. I love your palette too.

it has worked lovely texture and complimented with beautifully painted flowers Carole,Excellent

This is great, Carole, love the delicate cyclamen against the rough texture of the rocks. A few leaves, as you suggest, might look good, although the colours work well as they are.

Thank you everyone. Yes Malcolm it is like tufa rock with the holes in it :) Thanks for your kindness and advice.

Another beauty done with your unique talent Carole.

Lovely textures, Carole.

This has worked really well Carole, the two elements do compliment each other perfectly. Your idea of adding a few leaves would top it off.

It's great Carole, its strange to see you working in acrylics, I'm so used to your paintings in watercolour. Your rocks are looking good with plenty of texture, I think a few leaves would add to the composition.

Great attempt Carole, the rock looks like rock, well done!

The texture of the rough rock is just right compared to the delicate cyclamen growing below Carole.

Fabulous Effects Carole and I love the colour choices.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments.

I like the slightly abstract nature of the piece, with its lovely textures and vibrant marks. Well done, Carole!

My attempts with some fluid acrylic and some texture media to try and get an impression of rock.
