Thank you all so much. I realise now that the wall should be darker so the gate doesn't appear to come forward. Will address that.

This has been waiting to be painted since July last year. I've finally got my enthusiasm back and tackled it. I learnt a lot by my mistakes!

Fiona Rossington

After a career teaching Science, I am now retired and have time to enjoy a local Art class. I find pastel suits my style but I also enjoy trying to use water colours to good effect. I love painting flowers but also enjoy buildings, which so far I have painted from photos I have taken.
