This is lovely, Fiona - it reminds me a lot of summer holidays in France as a child... you've captured the heat and the dryness so well, and it has such a French feel to it! The house has such a lot of character...

After a career teaching Science, I am now retired and have time to enjoy a local Art class. I find pastel suits my style but I also enjoy trying to use water colours to good effect. I love painting flowers but also enjoy buildings, which so far I have painted from photos I have taken.
