I'm not saying you have, but it doesn't take long to make you lose your touch, does it? I've had a protracted lay-off owing to eyesight problems, and even though these are now resolved I've been struggling to get going again - although I also think a period of not painting is probably a good thing now and then; it helps you to re-think. But I DON'T think you've lost your touch, anyway - this is full of life and movement, and that slash of blue just beneath the main boat works very well to add dynamism to the painting.

Crisp and lively. I like the idea I get, ships' graveyard what with the floundering ship in the foreground. Works for me.

16"x12" Pen & watercolour. I've been so absorbed by pastels and still life's lately, I've hardly done any watercolour. ......and it shows! Did this quickie from an old charcoal sketch.
