Sorry dreadful photo, bad light today, try another tomorrow.

Terrific drawing skills there Fiona!

Better than 'bog' standard Fiona:)) A really great drawing!

Great descriptive drawing Fiona all lovely and love the two tree trunks caught with atmosphere

The two tree trunks are giving this great effort a victory sign.

Fionna, great detail in the sketch and I like the contrast between dark and light. You seem to have hit a creative streak of late. I saw one of yours recently which had a geometric look to it. When I went back to comment I couldn't find it but I liked that one too. Steve

Oh Fiona this is the nicest derelict loo I've ever seen! Seriously, you have drawn this perfectly, I really like it.

A very detailed drawing,Fiona,nice composition.

lovely drawing Fiona your a fine draughtswoman if there is such a word

A good drawing Fiona. I was going to say that it seems to be in a very isolated spot for a public loo and then I read your description :)

No jokes this time F. You are demonstrating some rather good drawing skills of late, keep this standard up... I probably would have taken the trees to the top, or cropped it!.

Another great drawing Fiona, the proportions and perspective are spot on.

Great drawing details again Fiona, no jokes this time 😀

Excellent drawing Fiona

Wonderful array of tones, with lovely composition and atmosphere, Fiona. Lovely piece!

Great drawing Fiona -the mixture of man made & natural is really striking.

Excellent Fiona! I'd love to see it in your pen and wash too.

Lovely drawing- demonstrates that anything can make a subject when viewed through an artistic eye.

Excellent drawing Fiona. There's something very sad about a derelict toilet. What a waste.

Thank you all ever so much for your generous and positive feedback, I’m sure there will be more of the same subject matter but in different guises.......oh no, I hear you say! Lol Thanks for that Alan, I will be extending the trees up and out of the picture. There are a lot of cross crossing branches on those trees but I left them out because they looked too busy. Thanks again

Perhaps you could make the first "coffee table" book of the loos of Great Britain. Would make quite a talking point. Keep the sketches coming.

Lol.....funny you should say that Tony......my husband says exactly the same thing, because it appears I can’t visit a place without checking out the conveniences! Lol Thank you very much for your comment.

Super drawing Fiona.

Thanks Richard!

Sketchbook 2b, 4b, 6b pencils. This is the opposite face of the loo block, the front if you like. It’s position is at the edge of the old county show field which is due to be demolished at some point. The last couple of posting of this subject were from the rear elevation of Southfield Lane.
