Lovely Fiona. Did you eat the lobster afterwards ☺️. I really like this. Never tried oils myself yet. Still trying to get to grips with watercolour. Well done you

Blimey Fiona! Not rough at all. 30 mins? No blending? It's very good!

Mmm! Looks delicious Fiona!

Very nice Fiona your so versatile

How did you manage to do this in 30min wish I could do a picture like that. Haven't tried oils. Look forward to your next painting

Not rough at all, Fiona! Incredible for 30 minutes, lovely tones, lovely painting.

Thanks very much everyone...... I didn't have time to put in shadows or tidy up the edges but I could go back and add a few bits and pieces. I just wanted to get the basics down and concentrate more on the paint application rather than it being a slave to detail. Thanks again!

Good enough to eat, hope you enjoyed it afterwards

You did very well, Fiona! Super brushwork!<br />

Brilliant and not easy subjects I bet Fiona.

30 mins.!!! Terrific, Fiona.

Splendid work. It&#39;s fun setting yourself a time limit isn&#39;t it?

Glennis, Helen, Seok, Carole, Jennifer and Gudrun....thank you ladies very much. Yes Gudrun, being short of time makes you sort out the bits you need to put down and the bits that aren&#39;t that important.

Well painted and I admire you for trying something so different..and so quickly!!

Thanks Louise!

Excellent work Fiona it has a lovely flowing feel to it

Great Fiona!!

Thank you very much Dermot and Linda for your comments.

20"x18" oil sketch on mount board. A quick practice, set myself 30 minutes. It's a bit rough but I wanted to practice applying the paint and tone with just one brush stroke......no blending.
