Lavender blue dilly, dilly......

Gosh you are disciplined LOL I really like this Fiona it's such a lovely sketch with lots of lively pen marks for the lavender.

The ink colour suits this painting very well Fiona.

Yes you must try it Fiona- it would make a great watercolour - but having said that this is a great little sketch

I'm really grateful for all your positive comments, thank you all very much. I only said I MIGHT have a bash at it in watercolour.......it's a bit out of my depth really. I'm not use to working with a sunny palette for a start. Don't hold your breath folks!!Lol!

Go for it Fiona - you never know what you can do til you try and I'm sure you'll produce a lovely sunny painting - although I agree with what's already been said, this is a great sketch.

Super sketch Fiona, the blue ink gives some nice tones. I know what you mean about painting from a sketch, it's quite intimidating isn't it ? Of course on the other hand it's only piece of paper and you don't have to post it.

Thanks Stephen, yes it is a bit intimidating....I'm half way through the watercolour and I don't like it but will post, no matter what it turns out like.
