Haven't a clue what a bothy is but it looks good! Your sand and those little clumps of grass leading the eye up to the bothy? really work well. Just looked it up! It's the one roomed cottage, well that's a new word for me!

Thank you for your kind comments, I did this when I first dabbled in Acrylics and it was the maram grass that attracted me. The salmon bothy was used by crofters/fishermen when there was a run on salmon. The long posts that are near it where for drying out and repairing the nets. Behind the bothy is a ice house which would have been filled with ice from the lochs to preserve the salmon.
