Love this. The colour of the water really makes the bird stand out and the water dripping from its beak is a nice touch.

I love Godwits - they're all legs and beak, with beautifully coloured plumage and gentle expressions. But that also makes them tricky to paint, especially as I haven't got to grips with acrylics yet.
