Hope you recover soon Emma. I think the central composition works well because of the vertical format and of course, as always, you have produced a painting which is a treat to the eye.

I haven’t done anything for ages - been going from one virus to another! Here’s some overwintering teal at the local reserve. The males are very beautiful, but the females are more interested in food, very sensibly. Now I look at it, I think the composition is a little too central, but at least it’s paint on paper…Watercolour on Bockingford 14x10"
