Hi Alan, it’s Helmsley Castle - definitely worth a look - the whole area has some great landscape subjects, Rievaulx Abbey is a short walk away.

Water-mixable oil sketch on W&N oil painting paper - I found the paper surface flaked off in a few places, so will keep this for rough work rather than anything ‘proper’. Great to see kites at Helmsley, and three of them at once! A4 size.
