Skipton castle by Emma Price

Beautifully painted Emma, the colours of the rocks are so beautifully painted.

Dramatic viewpoint and very well painted Emma.

So well done! I am impressed with the tree limbs.

Very precipitous! What a lovely watercolour and those branches are superb.

Lovely painting Emma i love the detail and colours amazing👏👏👏👏

A dramatic scene Emma, love the branch work especially the lighter twigs against the darker background.

Great painting of the castle and it really does it justice from that perspective.

Fabulous work

Love the unusual aspect and the great sense of height you have achieved Emma. The trees in the foreground frame the painting beautifully. Have the birds all flow away? So unusual for your work to be devoid of birds.

Thank you all! Carole, if you look closely, there are two buzzards in the top left 😉

Lovely painting

Good picture, Emma. I visit Skipton regularly. This is a very good representation.

Absolutely terrific Emma.

Thanks again for all the kind comments.

Watercolour on Not paper - this had to be done from my photos, as the path here is very narrow and busy, and the fence that stops you from falling into the canal isn’t very sturdy.
