I admire your commitment . You must have been sodden. That puddle does have excellent reflective quality, and the textures and colours are warming for such a potentially dismal subject. Very twiggy and wood like. Well done.

Just found you pictures...just realised , Yes you do use leaves etc. This is just brilliant. Love the textures.I will put on my wellies and mac and go for a walk. Fab.

Watercolour, gesso, acrylic, ink and natural collage (beech leaves). Painted on scene over two days. Raining first day. Washes wouldn't dry, despite fishing umbrella.
