Windswept hawthorn shrouding Garn Fechan - Pembrokeshire
On the coast of Pembrokeshire the prevailing wind batters the trees over. In this case Garn Fechan was prominent in the background presenting what I thought was a good composition. The little cottage just visible above the line of shrubs has a romantic feel to it and on a spring or summers day. I bet it's not so romantic in winter? This painting isn't consistent with what I've done of late but I got stuck in a rut due to a six picture commission and I felt I needed to make a change. I hope the casual observer likes my effort!
