That's beautiful. I was born in Morecambe and spent hours looking at that view. I wanted to be over the bay into the southern Lakes.

I like the composition in this one, Stevan - the faded the distant hills, simple sky, the subtle z formation in the foreground and the rhythm of the rocks in the sands all add to a wonderful painting.

A cold day out on the west coast in autumn isn't always something to remember but the view across Morecambe bay Cumbria when the tides out can be inspiring. The elements that attracted me where the foreground rocks and the misty mountains contrasting with each other.
