Great painting Stevan, I think the Hawthorne is excellent anyone who knows their stuff would instantly recognise it for what it is. I think you have got the vegetation colours really well and I do like the mood and movement in the sky, great painting, thanks for sharing.

It is indeed a lovely painting. Great choice of colours to convey the atmosphere of the day. Like the foreground brush strokes and the warmth against the sky.
