Thornycroft Timber Tractor

Great Dixie, I've watched its progress in the forum. I see you've re-adjusted the bumper. You paint these really well, especially the rust.

Thank you Lew, I appreciate your comments as it’s from an artist I admire and of great skill. The number is as I originally painted, Stan photoshop it and changed it , but I preferred as per the photo.

Like how you're painting this

A happy result Dixie. You should be very pleased with this.

Thank you for you comments Heather and Linda they are much appreciated. I am quite pleased with the finished painting Linda, what helped was doing it as a wip, as I’ve had a tendency of late to not finish off paintings, also the challenge of doing it slightly different.

Agree with Lewis, great rust !

Love the expression on his face Paul. So sad, you've done him justice.

Thank you Richard and Carole your comments are much appreciated, they do tend to have a sad look Carole.

Lovely sense of a lifetime of toil for this rusting beast

A3 watercolour, Old Thornycroft timber tractor. Love these old truck, they seem to have a character of their own, each seem individual. The colours as they decay away is superb and they almost have a second life. This was done as work in progress and can be seen in the forum.
