Sounds good to me Diana! Looks very good as well. Like the dark surround.

Excellently done as always Diana. Love the cool feel of the darks and the dappled sunlight. ..

This is amazing Diana the contrast is brilliant. Sometimes we are afraid to really go for the darks !!

super painting. please can i come for tea/ well done Diana

Superb Diana. Sounds like a brilliant idea.

Ha ha. Thanks Tessa. We aren’t the most successful! Thank you Margaret. I appreciate your interest. Thank you Jim. That was last week and nothing like as hot a now! Thank you Audrey. My tutor really encourages dark darks. He loves Perylene green. Thank you Tao. You’d be more than welcome.! Hello Carole. It’s the best part of the meeting 😁

So well painted with great contrast, Diana - always interesting subjects.

Fabulous Diana, I always have so much admiration for your work.

Thank you Maureen. I always appreciate your thoughts. Morning Dennis and thank you. Thank you Heather. I really value such s compliment.

Beautiful !

Thank you Lea. This one is a bit scruffy but the overall impression is what I wanted

Now this is hard work, those dark washes are very well handled and your draftsmanship is super..

Thank you Guy. The ellipse of the table is well off but can get away with it being in the dark 😁

Wonderful, Diana. How on earth did you get those "blacks" to look so different. Gorgeous as always.

Thank you Jennifer. I think I used the paint very strong on this one with minimum water. I was surprised how few layers it needed. I usually use burn umber or burnt sienna and French Ultramarine. Maybe a bit of crimson , perylene green or indigo.

Wow, Diana. I love this.

Thank you Shirley. I think strong tonal contrasts are really eye catching in artwork.

Brilliant.
