Really lovely work Diana and the christmas card was just fantastic a very worthy winner!!

Lovely watercolour Diana.

This is lovely, Diana, the figures are really well done - and so brave tackling that size of paper!!

Wonderful work Diana. Clumsy? I think not!

Such a harmonising limited palette Diana. I like everything about this including the size, very impressive.

I like it Diana very much. You seem to have had a change now in your painting, I think it's even better than before

I think its fabulous & you are too hard on yourself, it has great atmosphere & doesn't look clumsy or heavy handed. Would love to know where it is as it looks familiar

This is first rate Diana! The lights are a brilliant feature and such atmosphere altogether. I'd love to be there even in December!

I think it's terrific Diana! Lovely palette and very impressive work.

Thank you Linda E. I'm pleased that you liked the Christmas card painting. There were lots of worthy winners. Thank you Linda W, it still lacks punch and I have a few ideas to try Thank you Jenny. It's a completely different experience painting on that scale. Thank you Russell and Carole, I think I might have bitten off more than I can chew with this. Thank you Gudrun , I appreciate your loyal feedback. Thanks Dennis, I might be relaxing a bit with my painting I'm glad you can see development. Thank you Kirstie, it was so beautiful walking down those back streets of Rome. Thankyou Karen and yes, I am very hard on myself. Want to run before I can walk. It's a street in the old part of Rome Sorry I can't be more specific.

Thank you Marjorie. It was about 6 years ago but so pretty. Thank you Fiona. A bit adventurous but all good practice.

This is a great piece of work and certainly not heavy handed and clumsy. Your figures are active and give the painting life and you have good lights and darks. Keep working with the large mops and you will produce more brilliant work.

Wonderful painting Diana, there is a great atmosphere and the palette works very well.

Thank you Barry Your feedback ix very helpful. Cesare, your loyal support is very valuable. Thank you

Great mood! I like your loose style, especially on the figures! Congratulations !

So very beautiful street scene captured.

Thanks Peter. The path looks very uneven but I think it was. Thank you Juris and Christof , I thought yhe figures looked like misshapen blobs!

Thank you Georgina , it's such s beautiful place. The Mediterranean architecture has such beautiful earth colours.

Great work

My attempt at filling a full imperial sheet using large mop brushes. Using the very heavy Strathmore paper I won in summer. I have been too heavy handed and rather clumsy but it's got a hint of the atmosphere at dusk with the Christmas lights. Lots learned here for future reference.
