I love the sea and all that goes with it Dermot, simple seascape with some well positioned boats, why complicate things?

My ancestral home is North Devon and when I look at your paintings I yearn to be by the sea. This is beautiful, Dermot.

This is possibly your best work Dermot. Certainly my favourite. The off-centre main boat, although moored, drifts me gently across the page at the same pace as the sky. Lovely work.
