Nice one Dermot, my voice in the head is always saying if the colours are scary and look too dark they are probably right. I have come up short many times due to my darks fading when dry. Simplicity at its best.

Painted on saturated paper and the colour always looks too strong when it goes on but it dries lighter it's amazing watching it dry and settle
