Very good representation of a misty morning, as you say the wet in wet method is very good for capturing that slightly out of focus feel. The river is very well handled also, not easy as we all know but you have pulled it off Dermot.

I love misty effects that are amazing to watch as paint mixes and merges on soaking wet paper , this whole painting was painted wet in wet and the problem is timing and being patient enough to put the right thickness of paint on at the right time . The paper I use is a devil to work on as any fiddling or retouching and you're finished the reason I use it is because it is incredibly beautiful paper if used for wet in wet as the paints granulate superbly
