Very nice use of the wet in wet technique Dermot, I like the strongly painted sky and the brown trees work well.

Yes Dermot, it often used to catch me out but I go stronger than ever these days to combat this happening, our old friend Paynes Grey being one of the worst culprits as you will know. Nice piece again as we have all come to expect from you.

Again another watercolour inspired by a local view , this was painted 99 per cent wet in wet the birds and reeds put in when dry ; its strange watching the paint dry often you think you put it on way too dark but it's anmazing to watch it dry and ow much lighter it goes .... I ruined more paintings in the past by going too light and it's a struggle after that
