A lovely study, Derek - the interaction of the bold, strong lines and the subtle washes work superbly to create a lovely atmospheric feel to the piece.

I really like the bold lines on this Derek also the mix of greens really gives that feeling of dense and varied foliage, also you get a sence of the strong bedrock supporting the castle, a really great sketch.
