A fine and very atmospheric painting Derek. The subject lends itself to your semi abstract style. Don't worry about the back of the boots, it just adds to the texture and freedom of the work. I'm now going to google SRV!

As a dedicated blues man and guitarist in this style i think you have summed it all up here Derek, the music ,the feeling a nd the depth of this genre ,you have made many nice comments on my work for which i thank you. i have followed your paintings ,they get better and better, this piece my friend is clearly your best yet , well done i love it, it is an exceptional piece of art
