You're quite productive today, Derek. I doubt Monet would paint it as good with a credit card as you did. ;)

You have gone to town here Derek wonderful

Thanks Ivan, only one today, the other was from yesterday and the joke of course.
Thanks dennis, gradually trying more complicated stuff.

love this the credit card technique has bought life into it that monet himself would be proud of

Train in the snow after Monet - will it catch up with him? Yes - credit card technique works well - good result.

Thanks dennis and Michael

How you can paint a recognisable train with a credit card is beyond me! This has such a beautiful rainbow of colours and, of course, superb textures. Monet - eat your heart out!

Thank you Thea greatly appreciated.

Very nice Derek!

I so identify with what you have said. I could always sketch, but never tried painting, and now that I've taken it up I'm loving it, although it frustrates the bejesus out of me at times. I haven't yet graduated to oils - still on acrylics.
I love your use of colour here - I do see what you mean by after Monet. The whole thing has a dreamlike quality which is most appealing.

Thank you David. Pleased you are loving it, do try oils.
After Monet is a term used when using a previous painting but giving it your own atyle and treatment. Sorry if you are aware of these arty terms but a lot aren't

Eleventyeight as my hashing pals called my new age recently, it's supposed to sound better. Trying to paint every day in acrylics using only expired credit/debit cards, and partially succeeding as they're only for me and not show these days.
