Nice interpretation - I think you are really getting into these abstract type paintings and are beginning to be able to eloquently translate your feelings and thoughts this way. I tried an abstract last night and sadly I found out that I don't have an abstract bone in my body let alone my brain - just can't do them at all.

Sorry Derek I've not heard of the artists you mention and don't know the song but that doesn't matter - the painting needs no explanation - it stands in its own right and its another great semi-abstract.

That's what I thought Thea. I had an immense trauma and that's what changed me I think. Thanks, no bad wishes on you but try again one day. Michaelthanks, they are likely long dead blues singers/guitarists but their music is superb and live on/

I like the funky feel of this piece, Derek. The music may be old, but the painting has a very contemporary feel to it.

Just lovely (as always) Derek. Fiery as well.

Listening to Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee and the lyrics to this track sort of got to me. 35 x 27cm acrylic on paper.

Eleventyeight as my hashing pals called my new age recently, it's supposed to sound better. Trying to paint every day in acrylics using only expired credit/debit cards, and partially succeeding as they're only for me and not show these days.
