There's a lot that I like about this one Derek, the colours, the looseness, the sloping horizon, all tied together nicely with the sharp lines of the dark blue trees. Smashing painting!

Great piece and what I like most are the trees on the left - just a few dabs of dark blue which we immediately interpret as foliage although out of context they could be anything - super touch - they make it!

Thanks Louise and Michael. One thing Louise, the horizon is level - that's meant to be the top of the distant hills, but with this sort of work anyone can see what they want. I would have to crop it differenly. The trees are drops and drips of acrylic ink from the tube thing in the top ofthe jars, then I sperad them with the same thing.

I meant the tops of the hills Derek, the whole painting is made up of such good strong shapes. It's good which is why I came back to it!

Thanks and from a pro I am chuffed.

Lovely textures and good colours make up this sei abstract painting Derek.

Love the blue trees!

Thanks Carole and Debs

Love the textures, movements and shapes, Derek. You're really good with these.

Thank you Seok - as always and for your responses.

Eleventyeight as my hashing pals called my new age recently, it's supposed to sound better. Trying to paint every day in acrylics using only expired credit/debit cards, and partially succeeding as they're only for me and not show these days.
