I don't sketch and wish I could Derek. Went into Middlesbrough today on bus and saw lots of interesting people. Perhaps I should stop moaning and get on with it.

Hah! yes Adele do that. Must be loads to see and sketch. Probably still very run down town I expect, but the team are doing good. I went to school at Grangetown.

That's not far from us Derek. We come from London but moved to Saltburn-by-the-Sea. Middlesbrough is quite a decent town now - plenty of new builds but I expect like most towns, they still have their slums. Grangetown has also been revamped! Will astound everyone one day by starting to sketch!!

My dad had a few Daimler cars in his days and one stuck halfway up Saltburn bank. We all plus others had to push it up. Yes surprise us and get sketching, smashing practice

A nearby lady with lots of gear on, the weather had turned lousy outside. I fancied a new marker pen and went straight in. Luckily her partner turned uo with their coffee etc and sat far side so I grabbed him in to, but the perspective and his heavy dressed bearded size ruined the top of his head. The intention was to add more figures at a distance but he blanked the view but it worked out OK.
