Lovely scene and nice palette Derek. I like the perspective view into the village

Thank you Pat, I did enjoy working there in the street with sketching it first.

I know it well great painting.

Could do with a bigger photograph for my rotten eyesight - but I know Fordingbridge a little, and your painting captures it.

Sorry Robert, it is however on my wensite www.dereksnowdon.com

Beyond the photo it looks like a superb composition with some great shadows cast across onto the buildings. I also like that you have done a square rather than rectangle.

Nicely painted, the composition and palette are lovely.

Thank you Joseph and Seok

Again not the best photo. A gift to a friend who looks after any glitches on my computer. He was born and brought up in this pleasant little town on the edge of the New Forest.

Eleventyeight as my hashing pals called my new age recently, it's supposed to sound better. Trying to paint every day in acrylics using only expired credit/debit cards, and partially succeeding as they're only for me and not show these days.
