You are very kind Willie. I still sketch - the sketch book is always in the car. But I don’t travel as far afield as I used to. A friend of mine has been badgering me for years to make a book using some of the 2500 sketches which I have made in the last twenty or so years. The cost of publication has always put me of. Until now! I’m working on it!

I’d paid a quick visit to the lovely town of Marblehead, primarily to paint. So many interesting locations with insufficient time to record a hem all so I resorted to photographs. This scene in my sketch book was made from one of those photos.
