Once upon a time, I used to have a week painting at Urchfont Manor in Wiltshire. A gang of us, mostly followers and friends of the late Dward Wesson met up there for a convivial week when we enjoyed demonstrations by noted artists, plenty of good food and good company and experienced the pleasures of old fashioned accommodation. At the time the place was run as an adult education centre by Wiltshire County Council, but sadly it was sold and it no longer is used as such. Great pity!
