Even in these difficult Lockdown days, a few friends still manage to meet op, suitably masked and socially distanced, to have a couple of hours painting. You could call it, keeping your hand in or LG like me, you hail from Yorkshire, you might use the phrase, ‘keeping ‘t band in’t Nick!’ Yesterday’s final twenty minutes was spent producing this watercolour. It’s an imaginary scene but I like the end result. It’s loose and there are some pleasing wet in wet effects.
