This is excellent Denis and it could be anywhere, but it will look familiar to lots of people and that’s why it’s so good apart from the excellent washes etc.

This has turned out brilliantly, the imagination can go to town with this. It could be apocalyptic, desolation after something awful ( my first thought) or just a winter walk - or lots more. The limited palette works very well, the loose washes and sharp edges….I think you can tell I like it, Denis.😁

I produced this half sheet picture with a limited palette using indigo, neutral tint, burnt siena, raw siena and a touch of burnt umber. It’s from my imagination composed from splashes and daubs and enhanced to give a degree of reality with my favoured Fude pen.
