Fishes
If I see artwork that I admire, I have no hesitation in trying to copy it. But I do not try to pass it off as my own work. I just feel that you can learn so much from following the ways and means used by a master. Anyway, I came across a book - The Workshop Experience, by Ted Goerschner, an American painter who died a few years ago. Ted painted vibrant, colourful, exciting oils and this is a picture I made using acrylic paints following the instructions in the book. I have never seen fishes like these - but I love them; they make me smile!
