Painted at home, during lockdown, from a sketch done last year. Somewhere in the Peak District, my sketch isn't specific. I am finding that I paint best on the spot, or from a sketch soon after being there. Painting in the doorway of my painting shed to pretend it's outdoor painting just doesn't give the same results, somehow.
