Thanks for all your kind comments. It was just a one-off fun activity for our group, Derek. We're all guilty (me included) of using too many colours in our paintings so each year we have an evening when we experiment with a very limited palette. I thought this year's choice of vibrant colours would appeal more to flower painters but a great variety of landscapes were produced, many with realistic earth colours mixed from those three bright pigments.

I organised a fun workshop for our Art Society, providing 3 colours only - Permanent Rose, Quinacridone Gold and Tropical Phthalo Blue, and encouraging the members to see what mixes they could create with just these three colours. This was my result.
