Another super watercolour David, again I can see the Wesson / Fletcher Watson influence. Good use of tone and the furrows in the ground take us nicely to the light barn, counter changed by the dark trees.

Thanks Stephen. I think if you study the work of Wesson, Fletcher-Watson and their followers even quite mundane views you find on walks can make pictures like this.

Every Tuesday morning, weather and holidays permitting, three of us paint outdoors in our local fields and woods. I travel light, using a 1/4 Imperial painting frame, 200lb Bockingford rough paper, a limited palette of 12 colours and just three brushes. This is a typical result.
