It's a superb subject and popular and I never tire of viewing works as good as this and the coloured version.

Thanks for all your favourable comments. I really enjoy the freedom of using a small kit comprising A5 sketchbook and 0.1, 0.3 & 0.8mm nib fibre pens. I think my results have improved since I started doing colour trials as I know I won't risk "spoiling" the pen sketch with bad painting later.
