Pencil on Strathmore Smooth paper, 14" x 17" From a series of photos taken of Sophie playing in the park and sitting down having a breather. It was supposed to be a preliminary sketch for a painting but it's turned out to be a more 'finished' drawing. I wasn't sure if I had captured her likeness. When I showed it to Sophie she said, 'It's me but it doesn't look like me,' which sums it up perfectly I think.
