A stunning portrait painting, Russell this is painted beautifully, I would be so scared that I would ruin it if I did more . I do t do portraits as I’m not good at them , I would love to be able to achieve one this good.

Very nicely done indeed, Russell. It's definitely looser, the planes of the face show this, I think you've succeeded in your aim. To me it's finished - but, for you the artist, that's your decision. As well as the face itself, I like the rougher surface of the background - it's made me itch to do a portrait again!
