Love this Russell, beautifully done.

Love it Russell. It reminds me of Brigadoon.

Excellent drawing Russell.

What a lovely charcoal drawing this is Russell and such amazing stonework

Excellent work as usual!

Superb tonally Russell.

First class work, I love the subtle play of light under the gate.

So different from what I expect Russell, and a really powerful statement… simple subject, but in the right hands…

I do like your drawings Russelll, I thought you had been up here on Offas Dyke then saw the wall was wrong… it is a delight.

Thanks everyone for your lovely comments, very kind of you all.

Gosh, I’d find it scary to walk through that gate Russell. Lots of impact in this

Very atmospheric Russell. Great drawing of the wall and stones on the ground and the light coming through the gate is superb.

Great drawing, Russell!

Superb example of the use of charcoal Russell.

Terrific work, Russell, a lot of lovely detail, more so, along the path.

40cm x 50cm Daler Rowney fine grain paper, charcoal. A gate in the lovely town of Sedbergh, Cumbria. Found the direction sign a little confusing.
